Habitat for Humanity Build

Habitat for Humanity is a Christian ministry that gathers churches and believers to build and repair homes for people in need.  Faith is excited and privileged to host one of these building projects.  Over the next several months, Faith is partnering with First Baptist in Denton and Lowe's Home Improvement in Flower Mound.  This project is a memorial-build in honor of a former beloved Lowe's employee, Kerry Davis.

Over the past year and half, we have faithfully embarked on a capital campaign to free ourselves from a crippling debt.  We want to exemplify faithful stewardship, so we are giving a tithe (10%) of all campaign funds out to other national and international causes.  To mark the progress of our Faith Without Limits campaign, we are utilizing a large part of that campaign-tithe to fund this building project. In addition to monetary resources, the people of Faith are volunteering their time and skills to the needs of others in this project!

Build Schedule

If you have been around the church the last couple of weeks, you will notice a lot of progress on the Habitat house. There will be a few more weeks of work while the house is at Faith, and then it will be moved and completed in Denton. As always, we can use your help to keep the build on schedule. Here are the known available work days:

  • Wednesday, January 22nd – 8:30a-1:30p
  • Saturday, January 25th – 8:00a – 4:00p
  • Saturday, February 1st – 8:00a – 4:00p
