"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.." -- Matthew 28:19
Welcome! Faith Kids worship is designed for kids ages 3 years* - 5th grade. We strive to help our children learn about God's love through the stories of Holy Scripture and build relationships that matter.
Faith believes in one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins. Through the waters of Baptism, we are made new and experience God’s grace. We invite all who are beginning their faith journey, babies through adults, to receive this gift.
If you are interested in baptism contact Faith.
Faith welcomes all people to the Lord’s table for Holy Communion. A class is offered to children and their parents to understand the meaning and significance of the gift of Holy Communion. If you are interested in the First Communion class, fill out this sign up form.
The next class is Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 9:00am in Room 200.
Families who desire communion instruction for their children are invited to come to a time of learning with their pastors. The pastors will meet with children and their parents to learn more about what happens at the table of Holy Communion. All people are freely welcome at the table, and this class is not a prerequisite for children to receive communion. Instead, it is a tool for parents to utilize in partnership with the church, as together we nurture children in their walk of faith. We will cover what happened at the Last Supper, the elements of bread and wine at communion, and what it means to receive this gift from God freely.
For a portion of our time, families will learn together, and for the remainder of our time together, we will work with children and parents separately. Children who attend this class are invited to participate in their First Communion on Maundy Thursday.
Faith believes in sharing the Word of God with people. We invite children in 3rd grade and their parents to a Bible class that teaches children and parents how to use the Bible in their everyday lives. At the end of the class, Faith will gift a bible to each 3rd grader to use in their daily lives. For more information, contact Faith.
These summer opportunities are week-long events that build relationships that matter and teach children about God’s love and grace through Bible stories, music, and play. This is an opportunity for children to learn to share their talents with other like them, to utilize their gifts God has given them, and to help guide them in the path God wants us to go. Children are encouraged to invite their friends to attend.
